This week I selected an image from James Ephraums entitled “See You on the Other Side”. It’s a very eerie image with a vanishing focal point. Very dramatic and really makes you wonder what’s going on here. Who is this person? Where are they going?
Taken from James’ Flickr profile page “iPhoneography is about spontaneity, being endlessly creative, experimenting, collaborating, finding photographs rather than seeking them, and making art from whatever you found. It’s democratic, levelling, time consuming, global, uplifting and pure good fun!”
His image was selected as one of the finalists in the IPPA 2011 Awards. James submitted a different version of the image I’m showing here. Both are equally impressive. Have a look at this collection of very impressive images.
James completed a 365 project that he called The Polarize Project. He started April 1, 2009 and managed to make it all the way, which isn’t an easy thing to do. I know how difficult in can be because I also did a 365 project in 2010 and was able to get through it.
So go have a look at his Flickr photostream and make sure you have some free time because you’ll be there for a while ;-)
Thanks to James for allowing the use of him image.
Thank you all for reading, Patrick
